CUMULATIVE CAPITAL DEVELOPEMENT FUND

NOTICE OF ADOPTION

 

To the taxpayers of the Town of Farmland, Indiana. You are hereby notified that on March 1, 2021, the Town of Farmland, Randolph County, Indiana, pursuant to notice heretofore given, and under and by virtue of IC 6-1.1-41, duly adopted a plan whereby a Cumulative Capital Development Fund was established to provide for the following: “For all uses as set out in IC 36-9-15.5.”

 

The fund will be provided for by a property tax rate of five cents ($0.05) per each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of taxable real and personal property within the taxing unit beginning in 2021 payable in 2022 and thereafter, continuing until reduced or rescinded.

 

Fifty (50) or more taxpayers in the taxing unit who will be affected by the tax rate and corresponding levy may file a petition with the Randolph County Auditor not later than noon 30 days after the publication of this Notice setting forth their objections to the proposed cumulative fund. Upon the filing of the petition, the County Auditor shall immediately certify the same to the Department of Local Government Finance, at which point the Department will fix a date for and conduct a public hearing on the proposed cumulative fund before issuing its approval, disapproval, or modification thereof.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION

 

To the taxpayers of the Town of Farmland, Indiana. You are hereby notified that on March 1, 2021, the Town of Farmland, Randolph County, Indiana, pursuant to notice heretofore given, and under and by virtue of IC 6-1.1-41, duly adopted a plan whereby a Cumulative Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund was established to provide for the following: “For all uses as set out in IC 36-8-19-8.5.”

 

The fund will be provided for by a property tax rate of three cents ($0.03) per each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of taxable real and personal property within the taxing unit beginning in 2021 payable in 2022 and thereafter, continuing until reduced or rescinded.

Executive Meeting

 

The Farmland Town Council will meet on Wednesday, March 10th at 1:00pm, in the council room, at 104 E. Henry St., for an Executive Meeting concerning police reserve officers.

Public Hearing

 

Notice is hereby given that the Farmland Town Board will consider a proposal to amend the zoning map in Farmland, Indiana, with respect to the real estate located at 303 N. Main St., Farmland, Indiana, at the regular meeting of the Farmland Town Board on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held at the Farmland City Building located at 104 E. Henry St., Farmland.  The proposal requests that the real estate be rezoned from an R-2 zoning district to a C-2 zoning district.   A copy of the proposed amendment to the Unified Zoning Ordinance will be on file for public examination before the hearing at the Farmland Clerk's Office.  Any written objections to the proposed amendment which are filed with the Farmland Town Clerk prior to the hearing will be considered. Oral comments concerning the proposed amendment will be heard at the hearing. The hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
